1. What We Collect

When you use Paired, we collect:

• Account data — name, email address, profile photo (via OAuth provider)
• Profile data — job search status, target role, availability, CV (if uploaded)
• Interview data — upcoming interviews you add, match history, feedback
• Usage data — pages visited, features used (no third-party analytics cookies)

2. How We Use It

We use your data to:

• Match you with suitable practice partners
• Facilitate scheduling and session management
• Deliver feedback between matched users
• Improve the platform and fix issues
• Send transactional emails (match confirmations, reminders)

We do not sell your data to third parties.

3. What We Share

When you are matched with another user, limited profile information (name, photo, timezone, target role, struggle areas, and CV if uploaded) is shared with your match partner to enable a productive session. This data is not shared with anyone outside your matched pair.

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely on Supabase (PostgreSQL) with encryption at rest and in transit. Files (e.g., CVs) are stored on Supabase Storage with access controls.

5. Cookies & Sessions

We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. You can clear cookies at any time to sign out.

6. Your Rights

You may request at any time:

• A copy of the data we hold about you
• Correction of inaccurate data
• Deletion of your account and all associated data

Email hello@trypaired.com with your request. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. We will notify you by email if changes are material. Continued use of Paired after changes constitutes acceptance.
